In July of 2019, they opened their first storefront in downtown Berkeley, and since the beginning they strived to achieve "less is more", believing that quality will always surpass quantity. Their specialty coffee is no exception: they only source high-quality green coffee beans, hand sort their beans before and after roasting, to ensure all impurities are removed, and utilize finely tuned small-batch roasting. Like wine, coffee beans also need to breathe and age. They allow the beans to rest for several days, capturing the mellowness and richness of the coffee. They complete their espresso with organic whole milk to create an exceptionally smooth and perfectly balanced taste.
