Caffè dell'Arte was founded in 1996 by Franco Sedda and Lidia Daga, who bring to light the beautiful vaults and early 20th century architecture of the historic building in which it is still located today. It was born with the intention of being not only a cafeteria, but also and above all a meeting place and a place for the promotion of art, so much so that it is also supported by the cultural association of the same name.
In 2016, when Andrea Pettinari, son-in-law of the owners, joined the team, the "specialty turning point" began. Andrea and Federica, a couple in life and work, arm themselves with curiosity and resourcefulness and bring their experiences gained abroad to the Caffè dell'Arte. During their numerous travels, they fell in love with the concept of Specialty Coffee and for this reason they decided to bring the concentrates of traceability, ethics and a completely new taste back into the family business that in a short time conquers even the most demanding palates.
At the end of 2020, then, the latest project was born, aimed at having a greater and further impact on the coffee culture in the city through the opening of a micro-roastery.
